Exhausted

It's been a long time since Katy has napped in the car or in the afternoon! 2 days at YMCA Camp Christmas Tree 9am to 4pm did the trick! She was super excited to ride her horse Maverick today after their orientation and horse matching session yesterday. She thinks he's the greatest horse in the world. Very smart and just a little but sassy but really nice and very friendly. Sounds like someone else I know! It seems she is really taking to riding! Yikes!!!

Barely above water

The Hong Kong Krauels continue to set record breaking weather. After the longest winter and the latest snowfall last year, we had the coldest winter this year and now the wettest year on record. Many docks are under water and the remaining are barely above. We have no wake zones at Lake Minnetonka and Long Lake!!!!

We love watching the baby geese and ducks hatch and grow from baby furry balls to lanky awkward teenagers! The pond near school seems to host multiple extended families with two or three pairs of parents and all of their brood hanging out together.
