Katy loved loved loved the Opera for the Young production of The Barber of Seville. She and her classmate Katie both declared their love for the pretty soprano Karina! It was a fantastic production and thoroughly enjoyable. Excelsior was lucky to have had the group in residence for two full days, so every class got a session. Katy and Katie had a lot of fun in their class. But they find full operatic arias way too loud and clamp their hands over their ears during the most sonorous bits. Which is quite hilarious!
