We love having a sugar maple wood at the back of the house. Our family was transfixed by a family of deer traipsing through the other day. Two does and a fawn followed by the buck. He was quite large and used his hooves to create a little hollow for himself in the snow. He then sat down quite majestically and surveyed his domain for a few hours until dusk. Priceless!
