Happy New Year!

A great start to 2014:

- sneaking into the kitchen in disguise at the crack of dawn

 - a beautiful stroll and scoot along the Deschutes River with a clear blue sky above and clear blue water beside

 - a New Year hot tub!

 - the most delicious Dungeness crab we've ever tasted...it even rivals Darwin mud crab!

Katy was gratified to have get in the hot tub as she is normally not allowed.  They don't allow kids under 12 in usually because of the high temperature.  The Mendenhalls keep their hot tub a little less hot so the kids can use it too.
