P1 Interview

Katy had her P1 interview.  It's very competitive and she's been working hard to prepare for the interview for a long time.  We had to be there at 9am on a Saturday morning.  First, she had a one on one interview in Mandarin.  Then Mama and Dada and Katy were interviewed together.  Katy got quite fidgety and defiant during the interview, so afterwards, we had our first family pep talk about listening to Mama and Dada and about keeping on trying until we finish our goal, especially after working so hard, and not giving up right at the finish line.

It turns out the other kids we know were also fidgety and asking to go home or painfully shy all of a sudden.  So we're all just waiting until September 28th to get the results, with all our fingers and toes crossed.

Even though we are moving to Minnesota, we feel that with the difficulties of schooling in Hong Kong, we should have a back up school in Hong Kong, so we don't need it, because with Murphy's Law, if we have a back up, we won't need it, but if we don't have a back up, then we'll need it!
