LGB

Our family LOVES macarons.  Uncle Musa started the tradition with Laduree macarons brought from Paris each time he visited us.  We don't have Laduree in HK, but we do have Le Gouter de Bernardaud.  We also like the animal macarons from Roll.

We have been very grateful to our friends the Mendenhalls who lent us their golf cart for the month of August.  As a thank you, we got them Godiva chocolates (Auntie Tiffany LOVES chocolate) and also some macarons for the kids.  Of course, we had to get a box too to share with Dada, Kung Kung and Poh Poh.  The lovely lady helping us asked Katy what her favourite macaron was - and gave her one for free!
(Katy's favourites are raspberry and salted caramel and rose.)  We tried the cheese one also for the first time and it was yummy!  Dada says he can't wait to try to make macarons in Minnesota.  It's hard to make them in Hong Kong because of the humidity.
