Drum Tum

Kung Kung is a good sport!

For some reason, Katy loves to rub Kung Kung's tummy!  She does this instead of kissing Kung Kung goodbye or goodnight!  Very odd.  She says she likes to rub Kung Kung's tummy because it is like a drum.  Luckily, Kung Kung doesn't mind too much.

Katy also likes to stick her head under Kung Kung's t-shirt to hide.

It's wonderful to see Katy so playful and loving with her grandparents.

Kung Kung reads Katy Chinese poems and explains Chinese history at length.  He's a Chinese history scholar.

Sometimes though, the poems are a little political, and reference very adult themes, such as power, the loss of power, treason, exile and political executions...

Katy isn't so keen on those.
