Dada just came into the room and explained. OK so Katy was not making a fuss. It's another lesson in not doubting Katy and assuming she's just being a kid.
So Dada went down to Katy's room to investigate the bear that came alive. Katy said "I'm afraid she's going to bite me like the bears in Minnesota." Dada said "no, she won't bite - look she doesn't have any teeth. But I'll keep her upstairs with me." So Dada bent to pick up the bridal bear that Katy made at Kelly's Make-a-Bear birthday party, and almost jumped out of his skin as the bear did talk! Yes, the bears from Kelly's party were all installed with a voicebox with a recording of everyone singing happy birthday to Kelly!
So Katy was right!
