Darwin Day 6 - Litchfield National Park Part 4

As we left The Lost City, we were treated to a magnificent moon rising over silhouttes of the Australian bush.

On our way out of Litchfield, we decided we just had to stop and pose in front of the huge magnetic termite mounds, which are found all through the NT.  The mounds can grow quite massive.  They have their pointy ends pointing N-S and their broad sides pointing E-W, which keeps the mounds cool and protected from the hot Australian sun.
