Darwin Celebrates Dada's Birthday

Look at the show Darwin put on to celebrate Dada's birthday eve...

 

Well, actually, it was to celebrate Territory Day, but our little family enjoyed it as a celebration of Dada's birthday!  First we wandered down to the grass area in front of Cullen Bay Beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset with beautiful weather.

 Then we watched some fireworks launched by families in front of us and all around the coast to our right.  We didn't realise that the main event would be a massive fireworks display at 7.30pm and had already gone home when it started.  So we all ran back to watch the main event, which Katy enjoyed from her own little bench, dipping sao biscuits into milo.

We particularly enjoyed that there was so much room and it was so relaxed to enjoy the fireworks where we were.  No crowds at all!  Not like HK at all!
