The family that leases the restaurant downstairs has a daughter called Cherry. Katy just adores Cherry and begs to go play with her all the time. 
Katy loves that Cherry has her own little cubbyhole/office in the restaurant and all the staff make a big fuss of her and give her yummy things to eat.
We have no idea what the two of them get up to - there's laptops and iPads involved, and Mickey Mouse movies. But Katy is entertained down there for hours and hours.
Katy's playdates with Cherry allow Mama and Dada to have an afternoon nap!
