Gary and May Haslett invited us to the Darwin Trailor Boat Club in Fannie Bay for a 4th of July dinner. Katy was dressed in her 4th of July best. We didn't really meet many of the handful of Americans gathered there for dinner, but Katy had a ball playing with their children. 
It's been fascinating watching Katy interact with other children lately. There's a lot of social skill practicing going on. On this evening, Katy bonded with another five year old little girl called Milly, and they joined forces to protect Milly's bracelet from an older girl. There were a lot of strategy "meetings" (Katy's word) going on, and a lot of whispering and holding hands.
