The K2B K Girls - Kelly, Kiara and Katy!
Katy became friendly with Kelly and Kiara towards the end of the school year. Unfortunately, both Kelly and Kiara were among the wave of kids sent off to ISF. Even though most parents would prefer the kids to stay in Suzhe for a while longer, the dearth of school places and intense competition to get in mean that most parents will not take the chance and will try to get into the schools for Kindergarten/Reception/Foundation (or however they term their first year of schooling), which have the biggest intake. So unfortunately, Katy lost a lot of classmates to ISF, Canadian International School, and other international schools. The bonus though is that most of those kids were the native English speakers - so Katy is forced to speak more Mandarin now in K3!
A rare photo of the Mummies behind the scenes - below, I'm with Winnie, Elsa's Mummy, and April, Zee's Mummy. They were actually two of the first Mummies at Suzhe who befriended us and helped us navigate the strange ways and customs of a new school in a different language!
