Faeries at the bottom of the garden!

Katy asked for another fairy party for her 5th birthday.  So we chose a flower fairy theme based on the stories and art of Cicely Mary Barker, which Mama had grown up with.  Each child was sent a flower fairy invitation and came dressed as flower fairies.

Uncle Bert took some beautiful pictures of the faeries cavorting in the pine forest below our home.

Of course, Katy was a rose flower fairy.  Tia made her a beautiful rose petal and rosebud fairy skirt.

Katy is very fond of the Tinkerbell pouty pose...a little too fond we think, but she does look awful cute.

The girls had a lot of fun flitting about and dancing.
