The weather was awesome in the earlier part of this week - getting warm, and wonderfully sunny. Tia and Naan took Katy out for a Tagalog playdate in Hong Kong park, and Poh Poh decided to join in the fun. She took everyone for lunch at Delifrance. Then it was off to Hong Kong Park. Tia, Katy and Naan went there a few weeks ago with Rowena, but in wintry weather. Poh Poh and Kung Kung go every year to see the Chinese New Year displays, and they have taken Katy before.
Katy particularly loved the waterfalls this year.
She's really taken to posing for the camera, although they are very animated poses and difficult to capture. She's so funny though the way she minces around, and her facial expressions.
She loves the huge drums up everywhere and wants to play them all, just like Kai-Lan in her books, and just like the kids who play the drums for the lion dances.
It's the year of the rabbit, hence the Easter-looking displays everywhere.
Katy and Poh Poh really had a lovely time together. Poor Kung Kung and Auntie Pinky were home because they have caught Mama's cold.
