On Tuesday we had our latest Pure Mommas playdate. We took the Star Ferry over to The Other Side (AKA Tsim Sha Tsui), and had lunch at BLT Burger.
I wasn't expecting much "playing" from Katy. She's made it clear in previous group playdates and big birthday parties that she does not like large groups. She really prefers one on one interaction.
When we arrived, Katy was a little grumpy.
However, after a while, she did start to warm up, and when we met Lola and Maxine in the Ladies Bathroom (AKA a magical wonderland of fun things to do, like using the soap dispenser and paper towels), Katy and Lola made friends as only three year old little girls can do.

By the time we left the restaurant for the Science Museum, the kids were starting to interact more. To be fair, we don't see the kids very often, just once every few months. Although, I do remind Katy that she's been friends with these kids since she was in Mama's tummy.

Of course, the girls loved the Chinese New Year tunnel decoration outside Ocean Terminal.

The Science Museum was fun, although the Children's Playzone was under renovation, so most of the exhibits were for bigger kids. The little kids loved pushing the buttons and turning the cranks, but couldn't really follow the science of it.
The girls loved helping Auntie Maxine play this video game, which required lots of jumping, twirling and waving arms in the air.

Jonathan discovered a red Ferrari that was supposed to teach people how to drive in Hong Kong. The kids loved it although they couldn't reach the pedals, so the game kept telling them to speed up.

It's a bit of a trek to go to the Science Museum, but it was fun. It would be great to return when the Children's Playzone is re-opened.
