Money Matters

We've tried in the past to do some money education with Katy, but not much success. So following our beloved parenting book, we've scrapped all the work for money and reward and incentive schemes, and we are just going to give Katy an allowance of HK$30 (around US$3.50) per week. $30 as she is 3.

So I gave her a $20 and a $10 note. She said "no, I only want the purple ones please" (the $10). So we agreed that she would save $10 and give the poor people $10. She's very concerned about the poor people and why they are poor and where they live.
