Hail Mary

The Legion of Mary came to our house today. We welcomed the statue of Our Lady of Fatima and five Legion Ladies into our home with flowers and candles. Katy was so excited.

Mama and Katy led the family and Ladies in The Glorious Mysteries. Katy's first Rosary. And she did really really well, kneeling for two decades, and staying with us for the whole Rosary.

It was Katy's first proper Rosary experience. She loved introducing the Legion Ladies to Baby G and playing with the two pink sparkly Rosaries that came with Mary. She loved finally getting to use the Rosary she received as a gift from Uncle Jimmy all the way from the Vatican and the glow-in-the-dark Rosary Mama got for her to hang on her doorknob. (Katy's Connemara marble Rosary from Ireland courtesy of Auntie Rachel [her first ever Rosary at Age 2 Months] is in the bank safe.)

And afterwards, Katy loved sharing egg bake and chocolate orange cake with the Legion Ladies.

Katy is very excited to say the Rosary again tomorrow and every day this week. She kept asking all afternoon and at evening prayers whether it was time to pray with Mary again.

That's so sweet. I didn't think the Connemarra rosary was so precious it deserved to be in a bank vault though!
