Country Idyll

One of Rick's oldest HK friends, Hossein, has invited us to the HSBC bungalow Shek O several times. Now Katy is three and a half, and Ricky is feeling better, we were finally able to make the long trek South.

At first, Katy was very shy and apprehensive. She was so excited to go visit Baby Lai afterwards that she kept asking us to leave and go to Lotto. But once Tonton Hoss got out the iPad, he became Katy's best friend.
He was so patient and generous with all the games he downloaded and played with Katy.
They decorated cakes, made sundaes, and dressed Princesses galore.
By the time it was time to leave, Katy begged to stay! She ran outside and asked the taxi driver to wait five minutes. She loved playing outside on the patio with Daddy, dancing with Karma, and flitting around like a butterfly.
