Happy Halloween!

After a busy afternoon napping, carving pumpkins, frosting ghost cupcakes and getting dressed up, we rushed over to the Mendenhalls for a Halloween Party. All the kids looked really cute...especially little Alessio McEvoy, who was a gorgeous honey bear.
Dada and I were Vikings again, like at 4th of July, and Katy started off as a little black cat again, like last year. She loved having whiskers and a nose painted on her.
Ellie and Katy go to ballet and swimming together. She and her Mommy, Tiffany, were both dressed as Cinderella. Her Papa was Prince Charming. And her little brother Quinn was Peter Pan.
Dada loved horsing around with the kids.
Tiffany had the kids make ghost lollipops,
and bobbing for apples...
with a little help for big hands to get them to the stems...

The kids had an awesome time, especially with their lollipops and apples.
Katy and Ellie have a clothes swapping thing going with their playdates. Katy in particular loves to wear Ellie's clothes. She kind of sneakily peed in her cat outfit so she would have an excuse to wear Ellie's fairy costume. That's what Mama got for saying no Katy couldn't change into Ellie's dress up clothes! If only Katy would use her powers of the mind for good and not for evil!

The kids then settled down to try to have dinner, although after all that candy, it was a bit of a lost cause for Katy.

The kids did enjoy the frosting off the pumpkin cookies and
(very melted) ghost cupcakes.
