Gongxi Michael and Xiao Yuan

Today we had lunch with Michael and Xiao Yuan Meng and Michael's parents. Bertram set them up and they met at Bert and Pinky's wedding. Both have been really good friends of Bert's for a long time. Xiao Yuan made a very touching comment today about how good Bert has been to her family over the years. They are a wonderful couple and we are so happy for them. Katy wore her Flower Girl dress from Bert and Pinky's wedding.
Katy made everyone laugh when she insisted on calling Michael's father Kung Tai instead of Kung Kung. I guess she was actually correct, because of Uncle Bert, Mama, Dada and Auntie Pinky call someone Kung Kung, then she, as the next generation, would call him Kung Tai!! We explained again about Kung Kung's relationship with the Darwin Kung Tai and Poh Poh's relationship with the Malaysian Kung Tai. Then Katy said "and my Papa is a Kung Kung too". So she really does get it! So sweet, not wanting her Papa to miss out on being called a Kung Kung too!
