Katy at 3!

  • Wants to be a ballerina when she grows up.
  • Asks for a baby sister most of the time, a baby brother sometimes, and once in a while, she asks for twin babies - a sister and a brother. Wants to adopt Baby Matilda as her baby sister. She is super good with babies.
  • Loves to go swimming - loves jumping in as high as possible and paddling around on her noodle, but still doesn't like putting her face in the water much.
  • Loves to scoot scoot.
  • Loves playing with her baby dolls (her favourites are Stripey Baby and German Baby, also sometimes known as Baby Joy) - putting them to sleep, feeding them, and generally treating them the same way she is treated!
  • Wants to be a baby all the time. Still nursing occassionally for comfort - but this is the last week! Likes to wear her baby clothes - which somehow still fit her as she was a chubby baby and is a skinny toddler.
  • Loves playing imagination games - hotel, airplane, house, especially with Naan in her tent.
  • Loves jumping on the sofa and leaping between the sofa and the ottoman.
  • Wants to be swaddled to sleep, with Stripey Baby on one side, German Baby on the other, and a canopy constructed above her with crib sheets.
  • Has passed her phase of telling everyone that her name is Mary and she has Baby G in her tummy.
  • Is still napping, but is also waking at before 6am at the moment!
  • Says "what for" all the time now as well as "why"
  • Calls the BBQ/grill "Dada's Kitchen"
  • Calls the pomegranate/mangosteen juice "body juice" because we told her it was good for her body when we wanted her to drink it to ease a yeast infection
  • Asks Mama, "why are you wearing your "zebra"?"
  • Tells Dada and Mama and everyone "don't say stupid/hate/God/Holy" when we accidentally let those undesirable words slip out, as she has been explained why it's not good to use those words.
Is a beautiful, curious, loving little girl with a quick wit, amazing memory, a heart of gold and a strong will! Is very loyal and protective of those she loves.
