It was a very birthday weekend - Mama's birthday lunch at French Window and Pia's 3rd birthday party 0n Saturday (hmm, we seem to have lost the photos somehow...) and then Callum's birthday party on Sunday afternoon.
Mama's lunch was fabulous - an amazing French molecular gastronomy meal (highlight was asparagus "risotto") topped with fantastic wine and ending with 1966 armagnac...Pia's party was SO much fun - Katy and the kids loved the trampoline and the delicious birthday cakes. Must try to find the photos but alas, I fear the busy weekend somehow ended up with the photos getting lost in the rush.
Anyways, we have plenty of photos of Katy and Callum. We were the first to arrive. Katy had insisted on wearing her Sleeping Beauty gown, which was a big hit in the Plaza. Callum was exhorted by all to give Katy a kiss, which he did, but then promptly wiped it off again!

Callum's party was at a play centre in the Plaza, and there was plenty of room, toys and dressing up clothes, which the girls all loved. Ellie joined Katy and Callum for an early start on the goodies.

Callum's Mama Natacha, Ellie's Mama Tiffany, and me!

Katy loved the dressing up rack - first Ariel...

then moving on to the ballerina tutu. She loved playing with Callum's tool bench too!

Then it was time for the games. Katy loved being a train when Natacha laid down the tracks for the beanbag tossing game.

Callum's party theme was Thomas the Tank Engine. He had a spectacular Thomas cake. As at Katy's party, all the kids (including Katy this time) kept blowing out Callum's candles before he got a chance to get to them! Katy thought this was hilarious.

As I predicted, the first thing the kids did after the candles were blown, was to attack the M&Ms and jelly beans in the carriage that Thomas was pulling!
