Sorry to everyone that we have fallen off the grid again! It's been a busy busy time from Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas to Chinese New Year! Am hoping to get caught up soon but will start with the most recent events now so you know what we are doing right here and now.
This last week, Katy has been doing a daily Mini-Sports class with Playsports. There were about 10 little 2 and 3 year olds in her class. Unfortunately, we had our normal Chinese New Year freezing cold and rain for the week, so conditions were not ideal. And Katy started the first class with a terrible tummy ache from too much chocolate over Chinese New Year. It was quite something to hear her groaning over and over again "ow-wie in my tummy, I don't like chocolate"! Of course, she has already changed her tune now, but hopefully she will remember a little of that hard lesson that too much chocolate/candy may not be a great thing!
For whatever reason, Katy really didn't take to the classes. Whether it is because she doesn't like soccer skills or sports classes or large groups, we don't know. She was VERY independent throughout, not really wanting to play the skills games with the other kids. She DID enjoy bubbles and "What's The Time Mr Wolf" as well as parts of the obstacle course sometimes. We'll try Mini Sports again later this year.
Oh no - have been trying to upload photos for two days. Some kinda glitch. Will try again soon!
