What Katy Did in 2009!

Hi Everyone!

Katy turned 2, started "school", and loves to chat while putting her baby dolls to sleep, getting her nails and makeup done, and prancing around in high heels and earrings. Her favourite thing in the world is ballet, and she doesn't think much of "school" (organised playgroup) because "they make me line up and they tell me not to run and I don't want to line up and I like to run!"

Rick finally got over glandular fever/mono and is channelling his entrepreneurial spirit while I am still maniacally busy at home being COO of Katy, Inc (job description includes organising lots of theme parties, scheduling classes, planning schools, and scrapbooking).

We are still hoping for Baby Number 2, have finally started work on getting our home how we want it (one day!), and we still enjoy watching Top Chef, Survivor, and Dexter together. We both loved reading The Screwtape Letters recently.

This year, my brother Bert got married, with the Reids, Youngest Uncle Chais and 3rd Uncle Lais coming to HK for the wedding. Rachel & Paul visited in June, Carol & Marita in October, and my old boss Mark Crean did a surprise visit earlier this month. We had several visits from Uncle Alex Lee and Uncle Musa Mhlanga too!
