On Easter Saturday afternoon, we visited the fun fair in the Plaza.
Our good friends Sue and Joel came to visit and introduce us to their son Jack. Sue and Uncle Bert were at Insead together. Uncle Bert came to visit too. Katy really LOVES hanging out with Uncle Bert.
Jack is 3 in June. He's such a mature and self-possessed little boy. They live in Singapore, but he seemed to like the beach in DB just as much, and his parents enjoyed the relative fresh air for Hong Kong.
Uncle Bert got two sets of Katy's clothes wet. Katy would just LOVE to run into the waves and play. In Australia, it's quite normal for kids to run around playing naked or in their nappies. But it is considered a bit savage in HK. I do love watching Katy play in just her nappy. It just evokes such a marvelous sense of innocence and freedom.
Katy and Uncle Bert struggled a bit when it came time to getting dressed. Uncle Bert will have to practice his baby management skills!
