Ellie came over yesterday for her weekly playdate with Katy. We had a pleasant surprise because Ellie's helper, Evelyn, has her son visiting. His name is Ezekiel and Katy calls him "Kuya", which is the polite word in Tagalog for Big Brother. Katy loved having a "kuya" to play with!
They enjoyed frozen yoghurt "ice creams" together. This cheered Ellie up as she wasn't feeling too great - teething and bad nappy rash - the perennial bane of a baby's life!
Katy is becoming very familiar and affectionate with Ellie and Evelyn now. She's such a big sister. Here she is with a conspiratorial arm around Evelyn's shoulders, getting in on the game of "looking after Ellie".
Katy is so used to everyone asking about the bruise on her face that she now delights in telling people "I show you" and doing live replay action demonstrations of her fall on the floor from her crib. Here is the Katy show.
And she also explains that after hurting herself (she seems to think she hurt her elbow more than her face) she again fell from Mama and Dada's bed and hit her head (hit the head as she says).
She's so hilarious. And such a cheeky monkey!
