Happy Easter!

Katy had her first solo Easter egg hunt on Sunday morning. (Last year, she and Reese had a treasure hunt but not for Easter eggs). This year, Dada hid about 10 dyed eggs, a glorious Easter basket and assorted chocolate figurines for Katy to hunt in the living room and dining room. We've been reading her favourite Easter egg hunting book to try to explain the concept of the hunt to her, but obviously the message had not sunk in. It took her a little while to get the hang of it and understand what she was doing. But once she got into it, she was so delighted and excited!

Here she is showing off her M&M figurine, which she then surreptitiously and quietly ate up while we weren't looking. This has become her MO with chocolate.
She knows she is allowed a little but not a lot so she puts her head down and concentrates and is quiet so we don't notice her and she can get as much eaten as possible before it is taken away from her!
