Kung Hei Fatt Choy!

Chinese New Year was early this year - 26th February. We all gathered for the Family Reunion Dinner on Chinese New Year Eve at Uncle Bert's place in Happy Valley. Katy had a ball as usual.

She loved checking out Uncle Bert's new fish...

...but for some reason, she kept wanting to show the fish her bellybutton!
She enjoyed eating her black sesame tong yuen, which is the traditional sticky rice dessert eaten at major family festivals to represent the family "sticking together".

Kung Kung brought the guitar out to show Katy and she did a pretty good strumming job until she decided to see what sound comes out when you use the pick as a hammer on the strings.
By the way, the first thing Katy does when she arrives at Lotto is to make a beeline for the massage chair, which is what Dada is sitting on in the guitar photo above. She loves the vibrate mode and she loves playing with the myriad buttons on the controls.

She also loves her mushroom chair that Poh Poh got her last year for Christmas. She and Poh Poh have a pretty raucous time when they get together.
