Three If By Sea

Today is Tuen Ng, a global traditional Chinese Festival commemorating Chu Yuan, an ancient Chinese Government Minister Poet. These days, Tuen Ng is celebrated by eating Chung (a meat filled glutinous rice dumpling which Katy loves but has been forbidden by Poh Poh and Daddy to eat because of food hygiene and additive concerns) and holding Dragonboat Races.

We had a Dragonboat Carnival right here in DB today, so we took Katy down to have a look.
Katy has not played on the beach before as Mummy is not keen on sand, is having a hard time this Spring getting devoured by sandflies every time she goes outdoors, and does not believe the water in the bay is the cleanest for babies to play in. But today, in honour of Chu Yuan, Katy got to paddle in the waves.

AND SHE LOVED IT!
