Daddy's Girl on Daddy's Day

After an exciting morning opening presents with Katy, Daddy relaxed by cooking his famous whole NZ salmon stuffed Minnesota style and chimichurri flank steak. Lilli Ayi and Nick Shu Shu came over for lunch and we were also joined by Tonton Yves and Tante Mo, who had a great time rocking with Katy.

Katy's over the whole flying kiss thing now and is very much into the high fives.

Katy Rose loved the salmon and the giant strawberries we had for dessert. Ours were covered with chocolate, hers were nude. We love it when Katy eats strawberries - she smells like strawberry ice-cream afterwards.

Generous Katy also insisted on sharing her popsicle with Daddy...

...and kicking back on the terrace with Daddy, offering her views on the wine's bouquet (and also on Daddy's funky Japanese apron).

The first Father's Day we celebrated with Katy is merely a blurred memory as we were still in the First Month Daze.

This year was so much fun! Katy has an awesome Daddy who is always 180% involved.

When Daddy is in charge, Katy is always shrieking with laughter playing all kinds of very energetic games with Daddy, like hide and seek, chase around the bouncy castle, hohoho, guess which hand, and watching very entertaining shows that Daddy puts on for Katy, like doodoodoodoo doodadle. But equally amazing, Katy is also the most calm and contented with Daddy, whether sitting together reading in bed, or watching Tiger take on the US Open in the TV Room.

Katy loves her Daddy.

Happy Father's Day Daddy! We miss you when you're not at home with us!
